Customer Service Week was first celebrated in the United States in 1984, and in 1992, it was officially recognised by the U.S. Congress as a national event, designating the first week of October as a time to honour customer service professionals.
Since then, it has grown into a global movement, observed across more than 60 countries. Each year, organisations pause to recognise frontline teams and customer experience professionals who keep businesses thriving and customers engaged.
From October 6–10, 2025, organisations worldwide will once again mark this important occasion by reflecting, recognising, and re-energising around the mission of delivering exceptional customer experiences.
